Director: Victor Garcia

Writer: Matt Venne

Starring: Nick Stahl, Emmanulle Vaugier, Evan Jones, Christy Carlson Romano, William Katt, Lawrence Turner, Stephanie Honore, Jon Michael Davis, Wayne Pere, Lance E. Nichols, Ann McKenzie, Jennifer Shakeshaft

Story Max Matheson (Stahl) has had an accident that killed his fiancee Kayla (Shakeshift) after this he starts seeing things in mirrors. He gets help from Dr Beaumont (Mckenzie) who give the whole people believe souls could be trapped in mirrors and things are getting over analysed. After Henry Schow (Jones) leaves the job as a night watchman due to an experiences with a mirror leading to him cutting his face up, Jack Matheson (Katt) Maz father offers him a job as the watchman.

On the first night he starts seeing a certain mystery girl who turns out to be a missing ex employee Eleanor Reigns (Honore) Maz also starts seeing the gruesome deaths of some of the higher ups in the company. After finding a missing poster for Eleanor he phones her sister Elizabeth (Vaugier) and the two of them investigate what happened to Eleanor.

Verdict Meant to be a sequel to Kiefer Sutherland's original which was an average horror with good twist to say the best, this film doesn't live up to the original at all with no follow up to what actually happened at the end of the first one. It is basically following the Saw franchise good first movies with great twist and then just looking for gore, gore, gore in all future outings. Nick Stahl is better than straight to DVD films and does his best to make something out of a rather plain story. Serial straight to DVD girl Emmanuelle Vaugier seems to be a main character without actually having any real belief in what is going on and is a tame damsel in distress.

Story Mark 3/10 Been done so many times and this one is poor

Special Effects Mark 6/10 Some good effects on the death scenes but nothing truly original

Horror Mark 5/10 No real scares just the usual look up see something turn round nothing there

Star Performances Nick Stahl acts well to a poor story can see he plays the regret ridden lead man

Least Favourite Character Most of the higher up employees who snuff it

Best Part I guess that i like a good investigation type movie and its ABC for that

Worst Part The fact it doesn't explain what happened at the end of the first one

My Rating 45%
