With the news that Tom Hardy has challenged David Haye to a charity boxing match, I thought it would be a good choice for the focus this week.
His first role was in the highly acclaimed Band Of Brothers with his first film role being in Black Hawk Down, so Tom already has worked with to of the great directors of the generations in Spielberg and Ridley Scott.
Soon after he got a lead villain role in Star Trek Nemesis playing a younger cloned version of Captain Picard and even though it isn't considered one of the good Star trek films he does a very good job in it.
What follows is a series of supporting roles in a full range of films including Guy Ritchie's Rocknrolla and Matthew Vaughn's Layer Cake before the role that will get him the most respect in the acting business. Bronson following a young man sentenced to seven years in prison but ends up spending thirty is solitary confinement. This role gave him British Independent Film Award Best Actor award.
Two years later he finally gets his big break with another supporting role in Christopher Nolan's Inception which he arguable steals every scene. Following this up with British master piece Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. Before getting a lead role in the brilliant Warrior, Romantic comedy This Means War. Next up he was to re-team with Christopher Nolan who completes his Batman saga where Tom plays Bane.
In the future Tom has lawless later this year and is playing Mad Max in the remake due out next year, Tom has really come into the spot light the last few years and looks like staying there for the foreseeable future.
