Who is in it? - Edgar Ramirez as Simon Bolivar, Erich Wildpret as Antonio Jose de Sucre and Maria Valverde as Maria Theresa Bolivar to name a few.

What's it about? - Simon Bolivar was a South American military leader who spent many days fighting the Spanish in 100 battles. He also rode over 70,000 miles on horseback to claim back land from the Spanish. The Liberator follows his many successful military campaigns against the Spanish. Bolivar and his army were never there to conquer, they were there to liberate.

Is it any good? - This film is very gripping to watch if you are a fan of historical war dramas.

Why should I watch it? - To give you a sense of what Simon Bolivar and his army went through to liberate South America is enough.

How do you rate it overall? - 7/10
