Who is in it? - Tom Cruise as Cage, Emily Blunt as Rita, Jonas Armstrong as Skinner, Kick Gurry as Griff and Charlotte Riley as Nance to name a few.
What's it about? - A never been to battle Major is demoted down the ranks and thrusted into battle against an alien enemy. He is sent out in a mechanical suit he has no clue how to use and is killed within minutes, however he wakes up and is back where he started in the base ready to be thrust into combat once more, only to die and wake up again. The Major is each time getting a bit closer but still keeps dying until he meets someone who has had the same thing happen and together they train to defeat, however the loop keeps on going.
Is it any good? - This film is brilliant, the idea for they story line is amazing. Credit to the writers for coming up with this great film. Tom Cruise plays his character with perfection and is greatly accompanied by the performance of Emily Blunt.
Why should I watch it? - To feel the suspense in the Major getting closer each time is great and the action scenes have been executed with precision.
